England’s second innings got off to a rocky start due to an unfortunate run out. Zak Crawley, eager to improve on his first innings performance where he was dismissed for a duck, was run out at the non-striker’s end while backing up too far.

The incident occurred on the fourth ball of the second over. Ben Duckett played a straight drive off Jayden Seales, which deflected off the bowler’s fingers onto the stumps at the non-striker’s end. Crawley’s bat was in the air when the bails were dislodged, leading to his dismissal for three runs off four balls.
