Harry Brook’s stunner to dismiss Kevin Sinclair

Brook once again showcased his fielding brilliance during the second Test against West Indies. The incident occurred on the last ball of the 90th over, bowled by Gus Atkinson. Atkinson delivered a full and wide ball outside off stump, tempting Kevin Sinclair to go for an expansive drive.

Sinclair threw his bat at it with hard hands, and the ball flew quickly towards the gully region. Da Silva, unbeaten on 82, and Joseph with 33, added 71 runs for the 10th wicket, frustrating the English bowlers. Their gritty performance has given West Indies a crucial advantage as the tourists ended up scoring 457 in their first innings, leading the English side by 41 runs.

Earlier, on Day 2, Kavem Hodge shone for the visitors by hitting his maiden century in Test cricket. Hodge’s ton reduced the deficit to 65 runs, and the lower-middle order capitalized on his effort on Day 3, ultimately taking the lead over the hosts.
