Mayank Yadav, playing his first international match on Sunday (October 6), bowled impressively from the outset. He began with a maiden over, setting the tone for his performance. In just his second over, he managed to take the crucial wicket of Mahmudullah with sheer pace and precision. The dismissal came on the second ball of the over when Mahmudullah attempted a slog but ended up edging the ball to a fielder at deep point, marking a significant moment in Mayank’s career as he celebrated his first international wicket with enthusiasm.

India opted to bowl first and quickly established dominance over Bangladesh, picking up all 10 wickets in 19.5 overs. Arshdeep Singh initiated the wicket-taking spree, followed by Varun Chakravarthy and then Yadav’s breakthrough. The regular fall of wickets left Bangladesh struggling, with their batting lineup adding only 127 runs on the scoreboard.
