Dylan Andrews scored a season-high 21 points to lead five UCLA scorers in double figures, and the No. 18 Bruins remained perfect at home in Los Angeles with a 111-75 rout of Prairie View A&M on Tuesday.
UCLA (10-1), returning to Pauley Pavilion after dramatic wins at Oregon and on a neutral court vs. Arizona, needed no late-game heroics to move to 8-0 at home. The Bruins ran out to a 12-2 start in the first 3:22 and never trailed while sending struggling PVAMU to its 10th straight loss.
UCLA endured a first-half field-goal drought lasting more than six minutes, but PVAMU (1-10) cut the deficit to just eight points, with the Bruins effectively getting to the foul line over that stretch.
A 13-0 run early in the second half, punctuated by Trent Perry's dunk, blew the game open. Perry was one of nine Bruins to make at least two field-goal attempts.
Each of the Bruins' starting five scored at least eight points, including Tyler Bilodeau with 18 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor and 7-of-7 at the free-throw line. Eric Dailey Jr. added 14 points and Kobe Johnson had 12 points to go with seven assists and five rebounds.
Perry led the UCLA reserves with 11 points, while Aday Mara and Lazar Stefanovic added nine each. Mara grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
PVAMU's Jordan Tillmon led all scorers with 24 points. His 6-of-7 3-point shooting off the bench helped the Panthers to a 10-of-21 night from long range.
Nick Anderson added 19 points and eight rebounds before fouling out for PVAMU.
