Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) star player, Shreyas Iyer, continues to make headlines both on and off the field.

Born on December 6, 1994, the right-handed batter is currently 30-years-old and has had an impressive career in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since making his debut in 2015. Over the years, Iyer has played more than 100 matches, amassing over 3000 runs with an average exceeding 32. His record includes 21 half-centuries, with a highest score of 96.

Ahead of the 2024 IPL Auction, KKR retained Iyer for a significant INR 12.25 crore.

His leadership and batting prowess have been instrumental in KKR’s success, culminating in taking the team to the IPL 2024 final. This achievement marked a unique feat, as Iyer has now guided two different IPL teams to the summit clash, KKR (2024) and Delhi Capitals (2020).
