As the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 reaches its climax, the cricketing world is on the edge of its seats, eagerly anticipating the final showdown between India and South Africa at the iconic Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29. In the lead-up to this epic clash, Cricket Australia has revealed the best XI from T20 World Cup 2024.
Although Rohit Sharma has led India to three finals in major ICC tournaments over the past two years, he was not chosen as the captain of Cricket Australia’s best XI. Instead, Rashid Khan was honoured with the captaincy for his exceptional leadership and consistent performance.
Notably absent from the team is Virat Kohli. Despite being the highest run-scorer in T20 World Cup history, Kohli’s form in the 2024 edition was below par, managing only 75 runs in seven innings, leading to his omission.
