Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks injured a knee at practice this week and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the host Buffalo Bills, coach Brian Callahan said Friday.
Burks, a former first-round draft pick, was injured on Wednesday and didn't practice on Thursday or Friday.
Callahan also said that running back Tyjae Spears (hamstring) and defensive lineman Keondre Coburn (knee) be sidelined for the Titans (1-4) against the Bills (4-2).
The coach said that Burks could be headed to the injured reserve list, which would mean missing a minimum of four games.
"We're working through it," Callahan said. "It will be some time, no matter what. How long, we'll see. We're not totally sure yet.
"It is potential for (IR), for an extended amount of time. We're just waiting on some final word from the doctors and all that, on what that's going to look like. But I would expect him to miss some time."
Burks, 24, has started two of five games this season and has four receptions on eight targets for 34 yards.
Tennessee selected him with the 18th overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Arkansas. Burks has 53 receptions for 699 yards and one touchdown in 27 games (17 starts).
Spears, 23, had six carries for 27 yards before getting hurt in the 20-17 home loss to the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday. He has played in five games as a reserve this season and has 114 yards and one touchdown on 33 carries as well as 12 receptions for 76 yards.
The Titans picked him in the third round of the 2023 draft out of Tulane. Spears rushed 100 times for 453 yards and two TDs and caught 52 passes for 385 yards and another TD in 17 games (one start) as a rookie.
Coburn, 24, has played in four games (one start) this season and has two tackles. He was a sixth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2023 draft out of Texas and played in a combined five games with the Chiefs and Titans last season, totaling eight tackles.
